Blagojevich refuses to disclose files of people he's pardoned

The entire Loop School million dollar boondoggle is starting to take shape, with Ms. Gill's ties to Jesse Jackson revealed, and Jackson apparently exerting influence on King Rod Blagojevich to pardon her. One of 69 pardons King Rod has permitted - and this following Ms Gill's conviction for her involvment in a fight at an Urbana sporting event, in which obstructing a police officer was one of the charges.

The refusal of one of King Rod's hand-picked boards to permit public review of public records smells like a herring left in the sun for a week - and is pointing another finger squarely at the corruption endemic to the Chicago Democrats.

The lawsuits should begin any minute to force the release of these public records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, which does not protect the records of convicted criminals, nor the actions of state boards, from review.

Perhaps, if we're lucky, not only will King Rod fall under the scrutiny sure to follow, but Jesse Jackson will follow on his heels.
