Jackson: Obama comments misinterpreted

Illinois' favorite son *COUGH* Jesse Jackson just can't seem to keep his nose out of affairs that really ARE NOT HIS BUSINESS.

Jesse made his first major racial faux pas in Decatur, Illinois a few years back, when he showed up to support 7 20-something thugs - still in high school, ONE of them a fifth-year freshman(???) who started a RIOT at a football game. And he said their arrests and being expelled was racially motivated. He was found to be wrong in most regards by the courts - however the school system was for GOD KNOWS WHAT REASON ordered to take BACK these criminals once they served their jail sentences.

The odds of a 22-year-old finishing high school, when they couldn't seem to manage it for 8 freaking years are what... nearly zero?

Now, yeah, in THIS case some white students were way out of line with putting up those nooses. HOWEVER, the student bludgeoned and stomped - that's vicious criminal behavior. And the people threatening the teens accused of the attacks need to back way the hell off. Let the justice system work - if it can with all of the craziness going on down there.

If a GROUP of white students had done the same to a black student, it would have been a hate crime, with possible federal-level charges. That's the kind of bullshit the KKK is notorious for. But - because THESE attackers are black, these kids being charged with attempting to murder this boy is wrong?

Yeah, maybe wrong to go that far. But what they did was STILL a vicious attack, apparently racially motivated. Which makes it a hate crime, by definition.

Let's just hope this doesn't erupt in rioting in that poor small town.

Jackson: Obama comments misinterpreted - The Rev. Jesse Jackson said Thursday that a South Carolina newspaper misinterpreted his comments when it reported he said Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama is "acting like he's white."
