How is it that over half a billion dollars of funding for state schools is still sitting in the coffers of the state, despite the legislation appropriating the funds was sent to the King Rod Blagejovich months ago?

The people of Illinois should be calling for the election of Rep. Raymond Poe, R-Springfield, as governor after his second introduction of a bill to eliminate the ripoff of the taxpayer perpetrated by King Rod Blagojevich and has cronies. HB4177 simply states:

"Section 5. Travel expense reimbursement. No State funds
shall be used to pay or reimburse, and no State-compensated

Bill Brady of Bloomington wants King Rod Blagojevich, and any future governor, to stand before the combined General Assembly and personally explain the purpose for calling legislators into emergency session. Makes sense to me - if it truly is an emergency, the governor should be right there in the thick of things to get the situation resolved, not off on other errands.

Another of King Rod Blagojevich's attempts to usurp the authority of the legislature was blasted back at him, rejected harder than a jump shot by Frankie Munoz over Shaq. With his 'emergency' ruling, he attempted to steal funding from the budget for his personal health care agenda.

Well, lookee there! One of King Rod Blagojevich's own party members has called for a recall of the Governor! While getting rid of his "cost effective and transparent" government is what we need, he really needs to be impeached!

The Illinois Senate ignored the House on Friday, and instead voted on restoring $59 million of Governor Rod Blagojevich's slash-and-burn line item vetoes totaling $463 million.

With the House voting overwhelmingly to remove all but $39 million of the cuts meant to punish King Rod's political opponents (and consequently us little people), eyes turn to the Illinois Senate floor to see if any pair of the members have the guts to push Senate President Emil "Clown Prince" Jones to a voice vote on the House's override.

Dear Senator Righter and Congressman Rose:

I ask that discussion begin on the impeachment of Governor Rod Blagejovich for breach of Article V, Section 21 of the Illinois Constitution.

King Rod Blagojevich and his henchman continue on their mass power play to usurp the powers of the Legislative branch, primarily through lawsuits brought against the various officers of the Illinois House and Senate.
