Rep Jack Franks (D-Woodstock) was a loyal follower of old King Rod Blagojevich way back in the early days of the Governor's takeover of the state government for his personal pleasure. And way back in 2003, King Rod asked those loyalists to submit the names of people to fill up porky seats in state government, with hefty salaries and even heftier perks - so Jack be nimble, and he tried to get some family members some nice jobs, sorta like the one Clown Prince Emil Jones' wife got.

The depths to which Governor King Rod Blagojevich will go in order to hide from public scrutiny are purely astounding - being aided and abetted by his attorney William Quinlan and Abby Ottenhoff.

So much for his "open and transparent" government.

Ottenhoff, when queried by the Decatur Herald & Review on the nature of the search for documents related to Tony Rezko said:

""We don't comment on internal legal communications."

Ah, you have to love King Rod Blagojevich's staff, loyal to the core. Abby Ottenhoff said in the press statement yesterday that "We have to take action now" when referring to King Rod's "new" plan to combat street violence in Chicago.

Is anyone else wondering what sort of deals are being offered to Tony Rezko's lawyers by federal prosecutors for testimony against King Rod Blagojevich? Yesterday's testimony about how Levine and Rezko were manipulating the near-bankrupt Teacher's Retirement Fund's dollars is getting mighty close to King Rod.

Ah, the chickens are coming home to roost. How much more will the prosecutors get on record from Levine against King Rod Blagojevich during his testimony is the BIG question. Man, this investigation reached right to the top a LOT faster than the one against George Ryan.

Perhaps the Governor's Staff, being the geniuses they are and confusing Chicago with Springfield, have also failed to consider that as early as 2003 that the scientific community was already questioning the desirability of pushing ahead with FutureGen as envisioned?

What else could Abby Ottenhoff have expected, when she said "We hope members of the General Assembly will show up the next time the governor calls them into special session to spare transit riders from service cuts and fare hikes." King Rod Blagojevich has abused that power one too many times.

Apparently King Rod Blagojevich has convinced his staff that Chicago is the capitol of Illinois, and not Springfield. Abby Ottenhoff, one of King Rod’s many publicly funded cronies, is quoted telling the Associated Press “We define the principal place of business as Chicago, and all the flights are billed accordingly.”
