What's Next, Demanding the Seat on the Back of the Bus?

Lynn, Massachusetts’ schools have been a model of integration ever since it adopted its voluntary system in 1988, with all students seeing increased test scores, improved attendance, and higher graduation rates. But now forces are calling once again for segregation of the schools. One of the leaders of that fight is the director of the local chapter of the NAACP, Yolanda Morris.

Democrats: Feds should have intervened in Jena

The United States Congress wanted intervention in a racially-motivated beating doled out by six students to one. Yet, none of them were calling for the U.S. Attorney General to file federal hate crime charges against the six - they wanted the six exonerated because they were black and the victim white.

If the victim had died, this would be called a lynching.
